Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. white corn syrup
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. strawberry jello (dry)
    1 to 2 drops red food coloring
Preparation
    Cook first 4 ingredients until thick (medium heat).
    Remove from stove and add jello and food coloring.
    Let cool.
    Fill cooled cooked crust with berries and pour mixture over. Refrigerate 3 hours. Top with Cool Whip.
