Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco; add eggs and beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture gradually.
    Add fruit cocktail and nuts, mixing well.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with coconut and brown sugar.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
