Granny'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

9-inch pie shell
4 c. strawberries
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 oz. strawberry gelatin
whipped cream

Preparation

Bake
a
9-inch pie shell until brown.\tLet cool.
Wash and slice
strawberries.
Place in cool pie shell.
In saucepan,
mix water, sugar and cornstarch.
Cook over medium heat while stirring.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and cook until mixture
is
clear.
Then add strawberry gelatin.
Pour over strawberries
in
pie
shell.
Chill.
Add\twhipped cream when ready to serve.
Makes 1 pie.
