Sweet And Sour Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans French-style green beans
    2 medium onions
    1 pkg. slivered almonds
    10 strips bacon
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    6 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. Crisco
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; remove from pan and crumble.
    Add sugar and vinegar to the drippings.
    Drain the beans; slice and separate onions in rings in a Crisco-greased casserole.
    Place a layer of beans, almonds, bacon and onion rings; continue layering until all are used.
    Pour prepared dripping mixture over all.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Before serving, bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
