Frozen Strawberry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    2 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sliced or 10 oz. can strawberries
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix first 4 ingredients in shallow baking pan.
    Bake for 20 minutes, stirring and breaking up as you stir.
    Sprinkle 2/3 crumb mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Save the rest for topping.
    Combine egg whites, sugar and strawberries in a bowl; add lemon juice.
    Beat on high for 10 minutes or until you have stiff peaks.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Spoon over crumb mixture.
    Freeze for 6 hours.
    Cut into squares and serve. Excellent!!
    Yields 12 servings.
