Apricot Fried Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    8 oz. dried apricots
    1 c. water
    1 box Jiffy pie crust
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Cook apricots with 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar (for use next day).
    Make pie crust mix as directed on box.
    Roll until 1/4-inch thick.
    Make small rounds.
    Drop 1 large spoon of apricot mixture on each round.
    Fold to middle.
    Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    Top with powdered sugar icing.
