Taffy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. cream
    1 pt. sugar
    1 pt. Karo or half Karo and half maple syrup
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 pkg. Knox gelatine
    paraffin wax (size of a walnut)
Preparation
    Cook until 250\u00b0 or firm ball stage.
    Add wax after cooking, then pull it until about white.
    Eat!
