Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 lb.) fryer
2 Tbsp. butter
3 qt. broth
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
Preparation

When fryer is tender, take out of broth.
Take meat off bone. Add flour to 1 cup of hot water until thick enough to put on wax paper.
Add more flour until stiff enough to roll out thin.
Cut in strips; drop in broth.
Don't stir, just move around when done. Set aside until cool, then put lid on pot.
