Jiffy Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour milk
1/2 c. boiling water

Preparation

Sift flour with soda and salt; add to other ingredients.
Beat hard for 3 minutes.
Bake in greased 8-inch pan for 40 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
