Audrey'S Cherry Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine or butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. canned cherries, drained (save juice)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and lightly dust with flour an 8-inch square baking pan.
    Combine ingredients in the order listed.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
    Spoon Red Sauce over each serving.
