Slush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    9 c. water
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemon juice
    2 c. gin
    7-Up or Sprite
Preparation
    Bring sugar and water to a boil; simmer 15 minutes, then cool. Add juices and gin, then freeze.
    When ready to serve, fill glasses half full with slush.
    Fill remaining half with 7-Up or Sprite.
