Rita'S Famous Holiday Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. dill pickles (plain Vlasic)
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. horseradish
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Drain pickles and replace back in jar.\tAdd sugar, onion, celery seed, horseradish and vinegar.
    Mix and store in refrigerator for 3 weeks in large jar, turning every 24 hours. Place in small jars and seal or cap.
    Keep refrigerated.
