Armstrong'S Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped bacon
    2 cloves chopped garlic
    2/3 c. chopped celery
    1 large and 1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1 large can Spanish or stewed tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1/2 tsp. m.s.g.
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 1/2 lb. shrimp
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    In a large heavy saucepan, fry bacon, garlic, celery, onion and green pepper in olive oil.
    Add remaining ingredients, except shrimp.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 3 hours.
    Add shrimp and boil for 10 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
