Black Skillet Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick oleo
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    scant 1/2 tsp. soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    In a 10-inch black skillet or pan, melt oleo.
    Sift together the dry ingredients.
    In separate bowl, beat buttermilk, eggs and melted oleo.
    Add liquids to dry ingredients and mix well.
    Turn into hot skillet and bake for 25 minutes or until done.
