German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium boiled potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
    6 slices bacon, fried crisp
    3/4 c. chopped onion, sauteed in bacon fat
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    dash of pepper
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Saute onion in bacon fat.
    Mix in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.
    Stir in water and vinegar.
    Cook until boiling. Boil 1 minute.
    Pour over sliced potatoes.
    Add bacon crumbles. Cover and let stand.
    Serve warm.
