Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. melted butter
    1/4 tsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    5 eggs
    3/4 c. Karo light syrup
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
    3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat together sugar, butter, cornstarch and salt.
    Add well beaten eggs, syrups, pecans and vanilla.
    Pour into uncooked pie shells.
    Cook at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 2 pies.
    Check occasionally to see that the mixture is not getting too firm.
