Sun Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 qt. water
1/4 c. salt
3/4 c. vinegar
Cucumbers
a lot of dill weed
1 or 2 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp. alum
Preparation

Heat water, salt, and vinegar to a boil.
In a jar, combine cucumbers, dill weed, garlic and alum.
Poor hot brine over cucumbers.
Set in sun for 4 days, rotating 1/4 turn each day.
