Scones(Modern Version Of Scottish Scones. Good For Breakfast Or Tea.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. wheat flour or 2 c. white flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    6 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift first 6 ingredients.
    Work in Crisco.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Pat out dough on lightly floured board 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Place on lightly greased sheet. Touch tops with water and sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
