Twinkie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. margarine (use cold)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour with milk slowly and boil until thick.
    Will look like paste.
    Cool completely.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Add other ingredients, beating well as you add each one.
    Spread between split layers of yellow cake.
    Frost with fudge frosting.
    Fills 9 x 13-inch layer or 2 round cakes.
