Old-Fashioned Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar and beat well.
    Add milk, butter and extract and mix well.
    Turn into unbaked pie shell and bake 10 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake until firm. Serves 6 to 8.
