Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    3 eggs, separated
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. flour
    2 c. water
    1/2 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar and cocoa together.
    Add enough of the water to make a paste.
    Beat in egg yolks well.
    Heat remaining water with butter and salt until melted.
    Add water mixture to first mixture and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Add vanilla; stir.
    Remove and pour into baked pie crust.
    Cover with meringue and brown, or serve with whipped cream.
    Be sure to cook in a thick pot.
    Triple the recipe to make 4 deep dish pies.
