Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

1 c. self-rising cornmeal
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. oil
1 c. cheese
1 c. chopped onion
jalapeno peppers to taste
1 c. whole kernel corn, drained
Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Pour in hot cast-iron skillet.
Cook in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
