Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. stew meat
    flour
    butter
    Crisco
    1 (8 oz.) can pieces and stems mushrooms
    potatoes
    carrots
    turnips
    celery
    1 large onion
    1 can beef broth
    salt, pepper, garlic salt and celery salt to taste
Preparation
    Roll stew meat pieces in flour.
    Brown in heavy skillet or Dutch oven in butter and Crisco.
    Add seasonings, onion, broth, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, turnips and celery which has been cut into chunks.
    Stir, then add water if necessary.
    Cover and simmer for at least one hour or until done.
