Rhubarb Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. finely diced rhubarb
    2 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. soft margarine
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Place rhubarb in unbaked pie shell.
    Beat egg yolks, flour and margarine together.
    Slowly stir in milk.
    Add sugar and lemon juice, mixing well.
    Beat the 2 egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
    Pour over the rhubarb.
    Bake in 450\u00b0 oven 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 40 to 45 minutes longer. This pie does not need a top crust as the egg whites make a delicious topping.
