Dove And Wild Rice Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 16 dove breasts
    1/2 c. wild rice
    2 c. boiling, salted water
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 c. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. paprika
    shortening or oil
    giblets (optional)
    1/2 tsp. sage
    1/4 lb. sausage
    1/2 c. cooking wine
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Combine
    flour,
    salt, pepper and paprika in brown bag. Add dove; shake.
    Brown in shortening in iron skillet or other type. Remove.
    Place
    in circle in casserole.
    Wash rice; add boiling water.
    Cook until water is absorbed.
