Granny'S Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped bell peppers
    1 1/2 lb. ground meat
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 can (12 oz.) crushed tomatoes
    2 c. water
    1 box lasagna noodles
    1 1/2 c. mozzarella, grated
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease 9 x 12-inch casserole. Saute onions and bell peppers. Add ground meat and sugar; cook until meat is done. Drain. Return mixture to skillet; add tomatoes and sugar. Simmer 15 minutes. Layer meat mixture and uncooked noodles into casserole. Begin and end with meat mixture. Top with mozzarella cheese. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes. Bake for 45 minutes.
