Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. oleo or butter (soft)
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

In a large bowl, cream sugar, confectioners sugar and oleo. Add oil, vanilla and eggs.
Mix well.
Lightly spoon flour into measure cup.
Level off.
Stir dry ingredients into sugar mixture. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight.
Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with a glass dipped in granulated sugar.
Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until set, but not brown.
Makes 5 to 7 dozen.
