Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/4 tsp. soda
    3 c. flour
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Cream shortening, add sugar gradually and cream well.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
    Sift flour, soda and nutmeg several times.
    Add alternately with sour cream.
    Add flavorings and pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
