Chocolate Chip Meringue Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    In a small bowl at high speed, beat egg whites with salt until stiff, but not dry.
    Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Mixture should be glossy and very stiff.
    Stir in vanilla and fold in chips.
    Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 25 minutes or until cookies are light golden and firm to touch.
    Let cookies cool on a plate.
