Sour Cream Apple Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. apples, peeled and chopped
Preparation

Soften butter and combine with flour and sugar.
Blend on low until crumbly.
Stir in nuts.
Place 2 3/4 cups of mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
To the remaining mixture, add soda, salt, cinnamon, egg, sour cream and vanilla.
Blend well.
Stir in apples, spoon evenly over mixture in pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
Cut into squares.
