Plain Soft Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. scalded milk
    2 whole eggs or 4 yolks
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald milk in top of double boiler.
    Beat eggs; add salt, sugar and vanilla and add to milk.
    Cook (bake) until it coats a spoon.
