Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 lb. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt shortening.
    Add 1 pound brown sugar and 3 eggs and mix well.
    Combine and add flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add chocolate chips.
    Spread into 2 greased, floured sheet cake pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
