Sweet Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
2 eggs
5 c. flour, divided
Preparation

Scald milk.
Add sugar, salt and shortening.
Cool.
Add yeast to water.
Dissolve and add to milk.
Beat eggs.
Add and beat. Add flour (3 cups) and beat well.
Add remaining flour and knead. Allow to raise in greased bowl until double in size.
Punch down and shape into rolls.
Allow to raise.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Yields 2 dozen rolls.
