Cowboy Pinto Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pinto beans
    4 c. water
    3 to 4 cloves garlic
    1 onion, sliced
    3 to 4 green chili peppers, seeded and chopped
    salt
    cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Combine all ingredients, except salt and cayenne.
    Bring to boil; cover and reduce heat.
    Cook until tender.
    Add salt and cayenne last 45 minutes of cooking.
    Can be cooked in slow cooker for up to 48 hours.
