Country Baked Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 thinly sliced onion
2 apples, quartered
1 Tbsp. sugar
dash of salt, pepper and sage
4 pork chops
1 c. apple cider or chicken stock
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. breadcrumbs
Preparation

Layer onion in 4 sections in greased baking pan.
Add quartered apples on top, then the seasonings.
Place one chop on each section and cover chops with cider.
Combine cheese, butter and breadcrumbs.
Place mixture on top of each chop and pat down. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Recipe can be doubled.
