Baked French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf white bread, broken up into small pieces
    1 doz. eggs
    1 pt. half and half
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Break bread into small pieces and put into a greased baking dish.
    Mix eggs and half and half; pour over bread.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight or several hours before baking.
