Cantonese Eggplant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large eggplant
    peanut oil
    1 tsp. ginger, minced
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1 bunch green scallions
    2 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 lb. ground beef, chicken or turkey
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Peel and slice eggplant into strips.
    Fry in peanut oil until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
