Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks oleo
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, separated
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pkg. vanilla wafers, broken in small pieces
    1 pkg. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cream oleo and sugar; add egg yolks, pineapple and nuts.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites; add vanilla wafers.
    Roll in 10 to 12 inch balls; refrigerate overnight.
    Cover each ball with Cool Whip just before serving; sprinkle with coconut, if desired.
    I use an ice cream scoop to make balls.
