Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 stalk celery
    1 c. raw rice
    1 1/2 pkg. dry chicken noodle soup mix
    1/2 bell pepper
    1 medium onion
    4 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped almonds (optional)
Preparation
    Saute sausage scrambling until brown.
    Remove to casserole dish.
    Pour off all but 1 1/2 tablespoons of drippings.
    Saute celery, pepper and onion in drippings until tender (not brown). Mix rice and chicken noodle mix with 4 1/2 cups water.
    Boil 20 minutes.
    Stir to keep from sticking.
    Mix with sausage seasoning. Sprinkle almonds on top and bake 20 minutes on 325\u00b0.
