Orange-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 egg, beaten
3 tsp. grated orange rind
1/2 c. orange juice
3/4 c. evaporated milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Stir in nuts; coat thoroughly.
Mix beaten egg with orange rind, orange juice, evaporated milk and melted butter in a small bowl.
Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients.
Stir lightly until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn into buttered loaf pan.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.
