Pumpkin Spice Drops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. cooked sieved pumpkin or 5 oz. canned
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. raisins
Preparation

In mixing bowl, cream shortening with sugars.
Beat in eggs, pumpkin and vanilla.
Sift the flour, baking soda and spices into a bowl; pour any bran remaining in sifter.
Add the flour mixture to the pumpkin batter and stir in raisins.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven 12 to 15 minutes. Cool and serve.
Each of the 36 cookies has 1 gram of fat and 37 calories.
