Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 white cake mix
    1 (10 oz) pkg frozen strawberries in syrup (thaw and drain, reserve juice)
    12 oz cool whip
Preparation
    Mix cake according to directions, substituting water with reserved juice, add water if needed.
    Bake in 2 layers according to directions.
    Mix cool whip with strawberries, frost cake.
    Keep refrigerated.
