Chili For Two - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 medium tomato sauce
    1 can red kidney beans
    hot cooked rice (optional)
    1 large can tomatoes, undrained
    catsup
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
Preparation
    Cook ground beef, green pepper, onion and garlic until meat is brown.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in tomato sauce, undrained kidney beans, undrained tomatoes, chili powder, salt, basil and pepper. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer about 20 minutes. Serve over hot rice if desired.
