Amish Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    3 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine milk and butter.
    Stir until butter is melted.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Combine eggs, sugar, salt and nutmeg; beat at medium speed for 1 minute.
    Stir in milk mixture.
    Place bread crumbs in a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with raisins. Add milk mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until set. Serve warm.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
