Chocolate-Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 stick margarine or butter
1 c. quick oats
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
4 Tbsp. cocoa
Preparation

Pour water over oatmeal and lay butter on top.
Let stand 20 minutes.
Beat in eggs, sugars and vanilla.
Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, cocoa and salt.
When mixed well, put in a 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
When baked, spread with topping.
