Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    round steak
    salad oil
    onion, cut from top to bottom, then sliced thinly
    2 c. water
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 can bean sprouts
    4 to 5 celery sticks at an angle
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cut steak into strips and fry in oil with onion.
    Add water, salt, pepper and soy sauce; simmer 10 minutes.
    Add celery.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Add bean sprouts and cornstarch diluted with some water.
    Heat through and serve over chop suey noodles or sprinkle on top.
