Beef Casserole Italiano - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef (lean)
    1/4 c. chopped yellow onion
    2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
    1 tsp. leaf basil
    1/2 tsp. salt, divided (salt substitute)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
    2 c. low-fat Ricotta cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese slices
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion; drain off fat.
    Stir in the tomato sauce, parsley, oregano, basil, pepper and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
