My Favorite Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Combine butter and sugar.
Cream until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and bananas, mixing well.
Combine dry ingredients.
Stir into banana mixture just until all ingredients are moistened. Stir in pecans and vanilla.
Spoon batter into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, until tests done. Yields: One loaf.
