Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    10 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Thaw potatoes.
    Combine with melted butter, salt and pepper. Add remaining ingredients (except for cornflakes and butter).
    Mix together lightly.
    Put in buttered casserole.
    May refrigerate overnight or bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Take out and top with buttered corn flakes.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
