Fudge Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. milk
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, milk and chocolate in a pan.
    Stir over very low heat until chocolate melts; cool.
    Gradually add 2/3 cup brown sugar to shortening, creaming until sugar is dissolved.
    Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with 1/2 cup milk, beating after each addition.
    Stir in chocolate mixture.
    Fill muffin cups in muffin pans 1/2 full. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 20 minutes.
    Makes 2 dozen.
